This is the first blog in a series dedicated to the autograph habits of various major college head football coaches.
As a general rule, most of these gentlemen are very good signers and almost always take time to accommodate their fans. “Big Game Bob” is an exception. Not only does he usually fail to win the big game, he isn’t a good signer.
I have seen the Sooners head football coach interact with autograph collectors on three separate occasions. Each time, he has been abrupt, refusing to sign an autographs. Twice, I have seen him one-on-one with a fan. Both times he completely ignored that fan as though they were not even there, refusing to acknowledge their presence or request.
Needless to say, I am not impressed with Coach Bob Stoops. I for one, will not be rooting for the Sooners this fall.
